The Tail Society is the evolution of O’Reilly K9 Training — a trusted name in professional dog training across Newcastle, NSW.

Founded by experienced trainer Liam O’Reilly, O’Reilly K9 Training built a strong reputation for delivering personalised, results-driven training for dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavioural needs. With years of hands-on experience and over 1,000 dogs trained, that same expertise now continues under a new name — now joined by Olivia, bringing a shared passion for dog care and wellbeing.

Why the change?

The Tail Society represents a broader, more approachable vision — one that brings together expert training with enriching, social experiences for dogs.

Led by Liam and Olivia, the business has expanded to include Doggy Daycare, offering a safe, structured, and engaging environment for dogs to socialise, learn, and thrive. Training remains a core part of what we do, now complemented by care-focused services that support your dog’s daily routine and overall happiness.
